The new game plan for Raiders Football 101 promises more fun than ever, with the chance to mix it up on the field with Raiders players and coaches (photo ops encouraged) and test your skills in game drills (noncontact, of course). It all takes place Saturday, October 4, noon to 3 p.m. at the Raiders Training Facility and Practice Field in Alameda. “This is a one-of-a-kind experience — a chance to live the fantasy of being an Oakland Raider and support a great cause at the same time,” says Theresa Low, longtime event volunteer. “As always, proceeds benefit Alta Bates Summit’s breast cancer programs and services for low-income women.”
Football 101 tickets are $100 each and include a tailgate BBQ buffet plus a backstage tour of the training facility. There will also be fabulous raffle prizes — featuring game tickets and autographed Raiders memorabilia. For more info, call (510) 204-1667 or visit www.AnInvestmentInMiracles.org. |
