The 10th Annual Thunder Road Crab Feast and Silent Auction held February 9 at the Marina Community Center of San Leandro was the best crab feed yet. Revelers and volunteers turned out in record numbers to raise money benefiting youth in recovery at Thunder Road. The evening, which had a Mardi Gras theme, featured a cocktail reception with music by Professional Courtesy (an all-physician jazz band), hors d’oeuvres provided by the Thunder Road Catering Company, and a silent auction. An outstanding trapeze performance by Thunder Road clients wowed the crowd, and a live auction facilitated by auctioneer Chris Regalia of Berkeley Honda brought the evening to an exciting crescendo.
